Swick to face Hardy at UFC 105

Mike “Quick” Swick will now face Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy at UFC 105 in Manchester.

Swick was originally scheduled to face Martin Kampmann at UFC 103 but was forced to withdraw only weeks before the fight after suffering a concussion during training.

Paul “Semtex” Daley answered the call for a replacement and capitalised fully on the opportunity by stopping Kampmann early in the first round. Swick however didn’t have long to wait for his next fight. Dan Hardy was scheduled to face off against Dong Hyun Kim on November the 14th only for the Korean to be forced out due to injury. Swick and Hardy will now battle it out for the chance to get one step closer to a fight with the divisions title holder Georges St-Pierre.
